The Society's mission is to identify,
collect and exhibit the ideas, arts and artifacts of the
Lady Lake area's heritage to preserve the past for future
generations. We operate a museum where you can find exhibits with
actual artifacts and photos dedicated to the town's history. It is
worth a visit to see what is displayed in this museum, a relic of the
past --- a train depot constructed for the townspeople to use along
with the first railroads that were built to serve Lady Lake. The Society
is a 501
(c) (3) non-profit organization, as of 2007.
